This is my visual response to Torquay
Concrete House by Auhaus Architecture, shortlisted in the Victorian Architecture Awards. A publication that focuses on the strong materiality of the house which is built from marble, timber, brass and concrete.
The modern architecture of the house is visually striking and bold and the aesthetic
has been translated in the publication through the form of an exhibition catalogue, which
can also be used as a coffee table book.
Each interior page of the publication consists of a different ‘white’ paper stock and weight, emphasising the contrast in tactility and materiality visible in the house.
